About ASA of Arizona
The American Subcontractors Association, Inc. (ASA), is an IRS section 501(c)(6) non-profit, national, membership trade association with over 5,000 subcontractors, specialty trade contractors, suppliers and service providers serving the construction industry. As a subcontractor advocate, ASA works at both the Federal and State levels to make the changes necessary to protect subcontractor rights with regard to prompt pay, fair procurement policies, harmful indemnity clauses, retention practices, egregious and abusive contract terms, OSHA rules and economic and tax rules, just to name a few. "The governmental advocacy that this Association provides is valuable. There isn't another association, that I am aware of, that "takes up" the subcontractor fight at the legislative level in this state. The most recent efforts in retention reform and risk transfer/indemnification have been crucial for the survival of the subcontractor." "ASA has been a terrific source for education training, offering a wide range of topics that benefits our business operations and staff." "…this association changes contractors and the construction industry for the better. Our membership is filled with the highest caliber contractors, dedicated to improving abilities, knowledge and strength of the over 200 contractor and associate members."
